Beruwala

The free eye clinic organized by the Nabaviyyah Islamic Youth Organization – Beruwala, Sri Lanka, Noon Institute, and the Faika and Hamdoon Endowment for the Restoration of Sight on the 23rd of February, 2025, at the Noon Institute in Beruwala, Sri Lanka. Our impact through the project was immense as:  

  • 35 volunteers 

  • 5 doctors 

  • 5 opticians 

  • Approximately 650 patients benefited from free eye checkups facilitated 

  • Nearly 500 prescription glasses were distributed. 

The event also educated attendees on eye health, preventive care, and the importance of regular checkups. Patients left with a better understanding of common vision issues and how to manage them effectively.
